The Ironies of the Marketplace

Insomnia brings many interesting (and amusing) aspects of life into focus.

Tonight (or rather, this morning) I came across an extremely funny eBay auction. The title was simply "NEED NEW ID ? CREDIT : PRIVACY ?"

And if the title wasn't obvious enough, here is the description (and the subject of my mirth:

"OUR BOOK HELP YOU GET- NEW IDENTITY-CREDIT-NEW SSN-ID BY MAIL-COLLEGE DEGREES -BETTER JOBS-CREDIT REPAIR-CASH BUSINESSES-[FREE MONEY] ------ SEND YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS TO POST OFFICE BOX 1624,FAYETTEVILLE,NC 28302 INCLUDE $5.00 S&H."

I added the red, because that's how I immediately read the description. So, if you want to know how to drop off the radar, send your CONTACT INFORMATION to these guys (who have written a manual with bad subject-verb agreement?), who will teach you how to avoid getting your contact information out in the open.
